Our family-run bed and breakfast is housed in a traditional Irish Farmhouse that dates back to the 1700s. Together with our Garden Suite, we are proud to provide guests with warm, friendly hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and stunning views of the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington Lakes.

"Abhainn Ri is the B&B all other B&B’s should strive to be. It is a magical place seeming plucked from a Hallmark movie. We stayed in the Lily room upstairs in the main farmhouse. The room was comfortable and cozy with monogrammed bathrobes, fresh milk, and homemade lemon cake in the room. This is a true farmhouse set on working small farm owned by the sixth generation of the same family. Be sure to give yourself time to go on the Farm Walk through the pastures. They have sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and a couple turkeys. Various sizes of wellingtons are provided in the boot barn next to the chicken coop. Breakfast is outstanding with an assortment of pastries and breads all baked in house by the host. The eggs as fresh as you can get, provided by the chickens next door. We only had time to spend one night at Abhainn Ri and this was a huge mistake. We are already looking at our next trip to Ireland if only to spend more time soaking in the magnificent experience provided at Abhainn Ri. I tend to only review a small business if I can give it five stars as to not bring it down. This B&B makes me regret doing that as nowhere I have stayed can compare to Abhainn Ri. It is deserving of all the stars."
"We hired twin cottages. They have an amazing view. There is a lovely trail down to the lake. The houses are comfortable and clean. Our host lady Niamh was very friendly. This was a great farm for the bank holiday weekend."
"My family of five stayed here during the week of the US Thanksgiving holidays. The cottage was extremely comfortable. The views of the lake and mountains from the farm are even better than they look in the pictures. Niamh was an excellent host who really made sure we had everything we needed. Make sure to have the breakfast at least once during your stay, it’s delicious. There’s lots to see an do in County Wicklow and the surrounding areas. I can’t recommend staying here enough."
"Really comfortable stay and slept really well in my bed. En suite for each room. Well equipped self catering kitchen. The farm grounds are beautiful with a walk directly down to the lake edge and some friendly donkey's roaming in the fields. Breakfast was excellent and all home made. The baking course was fun and the owner is so sweet. Walked away with a load of my own scones and soda breads."
