Reviews of Powerscourt Hotel, Autograph Collection
"We didn't stay here, we came here for a baby shower, Venue and the views is amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. However the service was a bit slow and we had to keep asking for condiments for our afternoon tea. It was hard to tell what was in the sandwiches so it would have been useful to have sort of menu. Other than that, I would love to go back and stay the night!"
"We stayed for Christmas. The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately the food was very poor for 5 star hotel. We paid for the Christmas package, and the Christmas Day main course was not good. The duck was like a leather shoe, for each of us that ordered it. We sent it back. The sika restaurant was also lacking finesse, and flavour. The desserts in both places were good however. It has prevented us from returning, although the hotel and experience apart from that was great. This was in the year 2020 December. I hope the food has improved since then."
"This was our last stop of our road trip and we definitely saved the best for last. The breakfast was delicious and our room and view were amazing! We will definitely be back if we go back to Ireland again! It was a great way to end our anniversary road trip! I want to give a shout out to the staff, they really went above and beyond to make us feel cared about and comfortable! We took advantage of everything that was provided to us including the river walk and the gardens, we also went to the waterfall, but had to pay for entrance."
"I was there for the weekend for my birthday with my fiance. All was amazing, excellent, unreal, out of this world... Staff, food, room, surrounding, facilities, spa all are excellent. Free bicycles, free lift in town, add a nice extra to the stay. If you need something, ask Tatu, he's a Star, but I have to say that all staff was looking well after us. Got a birthday plate with some tasty chocolate, so thanks very much all. Restaurant, breakfast, afternoon tea are amazing, we didn't had food in the bar. A place to come back and to recommend, a place you don't want to leave. They deserve more than 5 star on this review. Drinks a bit expensive, but you are in a 5 star hotel. Hopefully I'll be back soon!"
"Beautiful hotel and hidden gem. We received a warm greeting the moment we drive up and the bell man was most helpful. The room was absolutely amazing and attention was given to every detail. The views from the balcony were spectacular. We had a one bedroom suite which was extremely spacious the bedding was wonderful and the room was very clean."
