Reviews of Junction Inn
"I love this pub, nothing better then walking down the canal after a cheeky pint, also very lovely food great portions a++++++++++"
"Yummy food, good value. Had the fire on, made it pretty cosy. We were a walk in on Sunday lucky to get a table but they kindly accommodated us. Lots of parking."
"Lovely place and setting. My partner's meal was good, mine was ok, pretty standard, the chips were a bit dry and the gammon slightly overdone but each to their own personal taste. Took a while for the food to arrive considering their was only 2 other customers in the restaurant and for some reason the Chardonnay tasted of chemicals. Fair play though, we were not charged for the wine. Asked for the bill and after waiting 15 mins, went and paid at the bar. Not huge issues but just a few small points. Still well worth 4 stars though."
"24 May to 30 May 2021 whilst needing to be around Norbury junction for our narrowboat So good to visit the Junction Inn again and the various times we visited to have drinks and meals, the staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive...perfect 10/10!! So glad to see them doing well and a fantastic canal side pub right on the Norbury junction which is always lively with Narrowboats, ducks and swans... A big shout out and thank you to you all at the Junction Inn April 2021 We came back to Norbury Junction and had to pop over to The Junction Inn again most definitely! Our narrowboat friends joined us for lunch a few weeks ago and yet again, we had four delicious meals outside on the tables. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, our prawn sandwiches and steak baguettes were freshly prepared, cooked perfectly and deliciously superb!!! Thanks for such a lovely lunch and drinks and to all the staff and chef/s, well done and thank you. See you again at the end of May no doubt as we'll be back for our narrowboat blacking at Norbury Wharf Ltd! Until then, take care, stay safe and keep well September 2020 Four of us had a meal here on the 1st of September 2020 and all four meals were really good along with the house white Chardonnay and the Joules pint was perfect too. The social distancing was easy to follow and we sat outside watching the narrowboats going by on the canal. The food didn't take too long to arrive and we certainly enjoyed all of our meals very much...cajun chicken/sausage, egg and chips/ lamb shank and the house Bloo Moon burger (?)... The staff were friendly and welcoming and made up for the slightly outdated decor of the inside. Maybe it'll feel a bit more homely and cosy next time... However, the location and surrounding area of Junction Inn is very pretty and being right alongside the canal certainly adds to the idyllic ambience. We'll definitely be back again sometime soon and a big thank you to the all the staff too for our enjoyable experience..."
