"WHAT A FIND! In short - Friendly, relaxed local pub with great staff and beer. In long - My car broke down outside this pub on a Sunday evening. Couldn't have happened in a better location - two lads working behind the bar were incredible helpful and friendly. I ended up waiting four hours for the AA - in that time I could see this is a great local pub with a lovely set of regular customers. Treated myself to a pint whilst I waited, delighted to see three traditional cask ales on, served in immaculate condition. Would gladly have had more than one if I wasn't driving home, thankfully they've got a good selection of non-alcoholic options too. Pub is clean and tidy, great atmosphere, bags of character and charm. I don't usually post reviews, but pubs like this are few and far between these days and hidden gems deserve to be shouted about."
