"Fawlty Towers operation - experience would have been entertaining if it had not been so frustrating. The fiasco started when I went in to purchase a table at the beginning of December 2022. There was a beautiful table (Sibast No 2 Table) on display so we enquired regarding the price. We were promptly told it was 1349 euros and the details (i.e. price, measurements, characteristics e.g. natural oak) where beautifully written for us on a Nordic Elements card. A few days later we were told, via telephone, by a terribly embarrassed lady that we had been given the wrong price and that the correct price was in fact 2211Euros. That was fine (mistakes happen) so we said we would like to proceed with the purchase anyway. At this stage we were then told that the table would be part of a sample sale so we would hold off to get a discount. Wow we thought, how very nice so we waited and waited and waited. Finally, we called, and called and called - always to be told that someone would call us back (never happened) - until eventually we managed to get hold of a lady who actually seemed to know what she was talking about and could make a decision. She confidently told us that it would be part of the sample sale, that its "ours", that it had scratches (just to "mark our cards") and that she would revert by the following Tuesday of Wednesday at the latest .........again that never happened so I waited a few days and called. This time I was promptly transferred to the previously confident sounding lady who now sounded like someone in a tizzy. She now told me that the table was not for sale, let alone be in a sample sale........how bizarre! There followed a email from the same lady saying that the table in question was in fact their ''team meeting table".........at that stage the comedy ended and I purchased the table via another vendor (it took 20 minutes). My fear is if it takes this outfit 2 months to not sell a table I can only imagine how shoddy their other services must be....which actually require professionalism, attention to detail, accuracy and organisation. Be warned - avoid....unless of course you feel like living through a hilarious Fawlty Towers experience"
