Reviews of Mrs B's Market Kitchen
"Read some of the reviews for this place and thought they were rather unfair. This is your typical cafe you find in an indoor market. Cheap and cheerful and perfectly adequate. It’s never going to be Gordon Ramsay but if you go in expecting your normal basic cafe then you won’t be disappointed."
"Food is meh, dinner service is bad. First off, it's quite difficult to queue up as the chairs are next to where people usually queue. Secondly, dinner service. Shouting over everyone who is eating to which people ordered what. I called the woman (thin black haired woman) who was delivering my food and she said it wasn't mine. Then a minute later she comes to me with the plate and apologizes. Thirdly, it's quite expensive, with simple orders (salads) costing £5!"
"Only went in here because Terry's had closed. This will be the first and last time! Latte coffee out of a machine - tasted awful - had to leave it. Had beans on toast. Could barely cut through the toast it was like rubber and certainly not fresh. To top it all we had to pay 5p for one packet of brown sauce. They could buy bottles from the £1 shop and put those on the tables! One of the ladies, who looked like the owner/manager needed to tie her hair back instead of having it draping around her face when being around food. Awful."
"Absolutely disgusting! Don’t bother wasting your money here! The bacon looked like it was yesterday’s and if you through it at someone it could do some series damage! The staff are considerably rude! Told staff about pregnancy diet requirements and got told it’s not there problem they can’t do anything about it. This place needs shutting down!!! Absolutely disgraceful. The staff need sorting out a step or two as well."
"My daughter tried to feed her baby here and was asked to leave even though she was going to buy a coffee after feeding her child she ended up feeding my grandson under the escalator on a metal stool and the cafe was empty at the time now I know why it was empty. intu were brilliant over the matter but the restaurant owner couldn't even bothered to respond obviously not baby friendly avoid at all cost if you are a young mother and use the main centre much better attitude to young mothers and least they want your custom even the council didn't care don't waste your money here."
