"Nice cafe Didn't have afternoon tea (scone) available when I was there (around 2pm) Had latte & cake instead the heart on top was a lovely touch ♡ Plenty of seats available (only one set of comfy lounge seating) Cutlery is disappointingly cheap considering the cafe is inside a homeware store."
"I went into pausa coffee shop at Dunelm Wolverhampton this morning with a friend and asked for two cappuccino and two bacon baps which were advertised on large poster for a £1. The assistant said the offer had finished at 11;30.i pointed out it wasn’t on the poster and she said it was on the table notice . Sure enough it was in small print , but you could have a scone. So i went back and asked for two and she said with relish “your too late I’ve done the transaction!” Sadly no service at all, not even a smile"
"I went to the coffee shop in stafford today while I waited for my car to be repaired. At 1.30 in the afternoon I sat at the only table that wasn't strewn with dirty cups. The table I sat at was sticky and had food debris all over the floor. There was 1 girl serving and another on her laptop the whole time I was there. In normal times the lack of cleanliness would be unnacceptable but in covid times it was truly shocking."
"Awful. Waited behind 2 ladies to be served. Took 25 mins And there was only 2 ladies before me! Some people were given their coffee, some had to sit down and it was brought to them. There was no method of working My jacket potato came out after 40 mins with cheese & beans. I’d ordered cheese & coleslaw I then waited another 10 mins for it Avoid this place if you want your lunch before teatime!!"
"Went to Dunelm Nottingham store today. Went for lunch in the cafe. Long queue, uncleared tables and very inexperienced staff. We go every week and it is usually spot on but today was a disaster. The toast was too big for the toaster so only partly toasted, I remarked to the server that a bigger toaster was required to which she agreed! The Cappuccino was like water not creamy as I think it should be. Several older people were overheard complaining that there was no cream teas available, despite several adverts to the contrary. Apparently they had no scones. Why advertise cream teas then? I counted 11 people join the queue then leave because the service was so slow. Very disappointed. Bring back the regular girls, until then we may lunch elsewhere."
