Reviews of Charlies Cat Cafe
"A wonderful home and a wonderful cafe for the cats and customers. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the cafe is exceptionally clean and welcoming for all. The Cat environment is calm and perfect for their wellbeing and security so you will, with patience, have plenty of chance to get a little visitor to your table during your stay. Either early on or late is preferable for us because then we get chance to socialise with the cats as well as the friendly staff. Hot drinks, soft drinks, various options and a fantastic lunch menu offers a variety of choices during your visit, and the cakes are to die for. Please support your local independent business as much as you can."
"This was my first time ever visiting a cat cafe. It is certainly a rather more unique dining experience. The staff were extremely friendly and all of the cats seemed really relaxed and happy (for context, these are rescues). Food and drinks all reasonably priced and the booking fee contributes to the upkeep and general care, so I really didn't mind paying it. You do have to remember to adapt to your environment; not allowing the cats to eat from your plate for example and making sure to keep your shoe protectors on. Shoe protectors are free, by the way. But if you're looking to try something different even as a one-off treat or a family outing, this place is great. Big shout out to the three members of staff who talked with me today and made me feel safe and welcome."
"Its lovely, friendly good food. Cats roam freely, they're all gorgeous and playful and some come for a play. The set out is great for the cats. Definitely worth a visit if you love cats"
"I love going to Charlie's Cat Cafe. Whenever possible I'll go. It's my happy place. Spoke so much about it toy cousin. She travelled 300 miles to come see it with me. We shared nachos, had drinks and caught up all whilst playing with kitties. I do find though if you're put in the side room there seems to be less kitty activity. Which was where we were placed. But she loved the experience nonetheless. Will lways rate it 5☆ as the staff are lovely and the kitties are too."
"Really lovely experience on my first visit today. Such a calming but wonderful environment. All the cats are rescue and very happy wandering around, playing or sleeping but can also scoot off to a private area if they’re tired of the cafe environment itself. I had a vegan panini and coffee, can’t really fault it at all. Staff were lovely also. Well worth a visit, unless of course, you don’t like or are allergic to cats! Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. If you have children, best to check the minimum age, as very young children may not be allowed."
