"Visited early September 2022. Wow, best fish and chips we have enjoyed for a long time! Batter on the fish was wonderfully crisp and not greasy at all, chips portion was so big we put some in the fridge and had them heated up the next day. Shame we were only in the area on holiday, we would be having food from here every week!"

"Amazing chips, best i have had for years. However, my pie was microwaved and the meat was chewy. Tasty gravy but an awful pie. My partners cod was excellent in size and quality but the batter was not crisp, it was soggy. I know that it is Weald in the field evening with lots of people eating there - but disappointed over all. ."
