"I had found QCD (Quantum) through a website to give me quotes for a replacement rear wheel bearing. They provided a very reasonable price but I also had a noise which someone had suggested could be the automatic gearbox giving trouble - a very expensive business - possible car write off. Finding their website and seeing a gearbox diagnostic service I rang about that. Speaking to Tofu on reception I booked it in for that diagnostic, deciding to hold off regarding the bearing which definitely needed doing. Arriving as booked, I took another receptionist Mo, and then a mechanic for a short drive to hear the noises. Putting it up on the ramp and in the workshop, the mechanic realised it wasn't the gearbox at all but just an idler pulley on the belt drive making that noise under acceleration, and NOT the previously suggested and more expensive repair power steering . Although neither replacing that, nor the bearing were on the original booked job, parts were ordered immediately and the gearbox diagnostic cancelled. The local parts supplier unfortunately delivered the wrong bearing so the job was delayed but Tofu soon another supplier and it duly arrived. I think the guys there really pulled out the stops and did an excellent job that wasn't on the expected schedule at much less cost than I feared. Result? One happy and much less anxious & stressed customer and a quiet car that can continue to give me service. I went back later to personally thank the guys on the front desk and also the mechanic whose name sadly I didn't get. Well done. I have since recommended them to two friends."

"Booked in for a new clutch for mini cooper s, knowing this a long job repeatedly asked when would be completed was told it would be ready the day if was taken in,it was not ,no call explaining this, wasn't ready the next day either,was offered a courtesy car with bald tyres and no petrol,had to lose two days work over this,if I was warned the job might possibly take three days I would have made arrangements transport wise."
