Ethos Concept Store

"My partner is coeliac. We just wondered past this lovely store as we were attracted to the beautiful window display and by the off chance asked if they did gluten free, they very happily said we were in the right place! I am also a vegetarian and it can be hard to find a coeliac friendly and vegetarian place! The food was amazing, the staff were so knowledgeable and we felt welcomed and at ease straight away. We WILL be back."

"Ethos was a great find - sitting on the pedestrianised part of Chestergate right in the centre of Macclesfield. Inviting decor with super friendly staff.. My girlfriend and I are whole food vegans and on speaking with the manager we discovered that the full menu is vegan and largely whole food and organic so super healthy and just what we like. I had the avocado and tofu on toast and a smoothie packed with fruits and other healthy ingredients. Compliments to the chef."

"Such a shame I really wanted to like it here. We visited three times. The first time I had avacado and pesto on toast and loved it. The second time I had banana and apple on toast, not too bad, a tad dry. My daughter had the bagel which was overdone, so too hard. The third time my son and daughter had the ethos bowl, I think it's called. It was like gruel, dry and bland and I had the spanokopita, which was very sloppy. I assumed it had been warmed up in the microwave but the waitress insisted they don't have a microwave, she said they heat them up in the oven, that being the case it was seriously under cooked. That aside the drinks were lovely and the staff are very polite."
