Reviews of The New Theatre
"Fantastic theatre space in the middle of Temple Bar in Dublin. Well managed and looked after, it is an intimate space, and perfect for the showcase that was on that day. The theatre is located behind the Communist bookshop, which is full of hard to find gems for anyone interested in Irish history."
"First time in The New Theatre to see Safety Catch. A very lovely small theatre with a warm welcome from the front of house staff, the play its self was tremendous and really captured the love and insanity of road racing, a must see for Dunlop fans, both actors where flawless in their roles, I will will keeping an eye on future projects from Nick Snow. We'll done to all involved in this production."
"First time there watching my friend's show, The perfect Immigrant, and it was lovely. Very nice place, very good insulation for different types of shows. Very good staff, always thoughtful to help you out."
"Intimate setting, about 60seats,full house..Seats comfy for an hours performance."
"First you enter a book store. At the back of the shop there is a counter and you can buy ,exchange tickeys, grab tea and coffee and brochure.Besides counter is a door. Like a door to Narnia,it leads to a 66 seater theathre room with stage, decorations, lights, seats. I have enjoyed Extremities sitting in a second row,all action was happening in front of my eyes. Actors fighting, falling, spitting. Great atmosphere, fantastic theathre"
