Wheelies distribution centre

"Reported to Trading Standards Scotland. Frame broke on replacement Giant Roam 2 bike. They agreed by email & phone they would honour Giant's life time frame guarantee. Wheelies now not responding to email & telephone support have no record of claim ref num. Problem reported 20/1/2020!"

"I was very worried by reading almost all of these reviews about Wheelies. To be honest I've had a very good experience. Customer service was great, polite and easy to get hold of. Bike came about 4 days after order, fully built with a couple of free tools too. One thing that confused me was the bike came from E tredz so not sure weather it was from there or wheelies. Either way I'm happy"

"Please take note of the negative reviews as they are spot on avoid this company at all costs. I've worked in the cycle industry for the last 8 years and this is by far the worst company I've had to deal with the customer service is non existent no one answers the phone , live chat doesn't work and they don't live up to ANY of the claims made on the website. Absolute shambles of a company giving 1 star is being generous."

"Shocking. Appalling. It’s no wonder that their last 5 star review came over a year ago. And from the 4 x 5 star reviews they have, at least 2 they have done themselves. I have today reported them to trading standards. They happily and will fully mislead on their website knowing that they have no intention of fulfilling the order in the time frames given. As insurance companies preferred bike supplier, they couldn’t give a hoot about you as a customer. Placed an order for a 3-5 day delivery. After 3 days enquired as to how long it would be. Was told at least 12 days from date of order. No one thought to advise me of this. It’s clear from the numerous reviews that this is the culture of the company and not just a one off. Not even an apology!! Fuming!"

"I can't believe this company has the contract for Direct Line. They are the most incompetent company I have ever experienced. I have just been on hold for 10 minutes without speaking to a person. Then I tried the Live Chat but that wasn't available but it was 3pm so probably my fault for trying to buy a bike from them at such a ridiculous time of day. Previously when I was trying to find a 1x bike in stock, I was advised to buy a Cannondale and remove the front derailleur and a chain ring. He was being absolutely serious! Anyway, a week later and I am still waiting for my call back... If I could take my insurance claim elsewhere, even for half the value I would jump at the chance. A week later and still no return call. I eventually got through to a 'person' who wanted me to pay for a bike that 'might' be in stock in 12 weeks. He got a bit grumpy when I politely told him that was ridiculous. He is going to email me my voucher code... Will it ever arrive?"
