Reviews of Swan Inn, MK
"I wanted to eat at a pub, somewhere with a traditional pub feel to it. The Swan Inn was a good choice for me and my friend. We decided to sit outside as the weather was nice so we didn't experience much of the atmosphere after all, but it seems a very pleasant place indoors. The food and drink was very good quality if a little expensive, but I don't mind paying more for a good experience, which this was. It was quiet when I went so the service was good, although when eating outside you have to order at the bar. Overall I left feeling happy."
"it's been a while since I was here. Went there for family Sunday lunch at 3pm. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and location, just as I remembered it. Our starters were ok, the beat was the Honey Glazed Pork Belly. I wassnet to keen on my Roast. Meat was very nice and tender, potatoes we're cooked nicely, gravy was very tasty but I have to say the yourkshires were too dark and vegetables were over cooked and looked a bit old. As I have said before, we all have different tastes buds, so you will have to try it out for yourselves"
"I was taken here today for a surprise Father's Day treat with all of my children and I can say it was a wonderful experience for many reasons. The place is appealing as you approach it with plenty of parking and visible outside seating. We received a beautiful welcome from the team and were very quickly seated and drinks ordered. It is clearly a very well maintained building as the beams in the pub are a lovely colour. For those over 6ft, prepare to duck a lot. Onto the food, which was just amazing. I am normally a big eater but could only manage a main and a dessert. They were great portions and they food was bursting with flavour. It's also not often I've been somewhere who can actually make cornbread to a good standard and serve it as part of a meal. Loved that. The dessert was scrum diddly umptious. Everyone who sat round the table fully enjoyed their meals. We were also able to have a laugh and joke about without feeling like we were being watched or going to get asked to quieten down. I loved the atmosphere, loved that I felt welcome, and loved the food. A very well run place. Thank you for a wonderful day."
"Nice pub. Has some tables on the front and a big open space on the back for casual drinks or dinner. The inside restaurant is nicely decorated. They allow dogs in the garden as we saw few locals coming in with theirs. Food was very nice and we were served a very decent portion. We order gnocchi with prawns and pork belly with potatoes. Staff was very friendly. A little expensive, but is worth it. Will come back."
