Not the sort of pub to go to if you're not a local resident unless meeting friends that already frequent the pub unless you are very confident and can strike up a conversation with absolute strangers. I used to live 15 minutes walk away at my marching pace and knew 75% of the regulars so when the Griffin closed down this was where I went to meet mates."
