"I won't accept being lied to. Booked a table for 19:30. On arrival were advised there "might be a bit of a wait for food". We asked "what does that mean?" The answer "I can't say but it won't be more an an hour". On this basis we ordered at 19:35. From that point forward we received no further service and had to go up and get drinks from the bar ourselves. At 20:30 I'd had enough and flagged down our original waitress. "They are just plating up your food, it won't be more than 5 mins". At 20:47, having been completely ignored from the point that our order was taken, we left. Further to this, for the 2 hours we were here the dirty ketchup and mayonnaise pots sat on the bar with the empty glasses. And the dirty blue roll just sat there as per the second picture. Nobody wants to see any pubs in this country close, but when they're run with such a lack of care and attention it would be a miracle if one like this survived. Unsurprisingly, we won't be returning."

"Very pleasantly suprised calling here after a few years & purely on the off chance. The bar staff were "on the ball" none of them standing around on their phones like so many similar pub company operations. Food was excellent with a few "different" options on the menu and the specials board compliments to the chef. Well worth revisiting"

"Great gluten free meal, many thanks to the chef. We loved our seafood grill, risotto,cheesecake. . and, the wine. All was very, very good. Also, great attentive,but not intrusive service. Only could be a little bit faster, but again,it was a busy time, so had to wait a bit. We would highly recommend this place. Would be back if passing by again!"

"One of my favourite gastro pub locations in greater Cambridgeshire! I introduce friends to this pub at every opportunity! The service is great! The food is divine! And the pub is so nice and cozy. I have enjoyed the menu developments for over 6 years. Today I tried their pigeon appetiser...yummy!"

"This a gem of a place. The staff are super nice. The food was really, really good. We had the Cod & chips and Tikka Masala. The pub interior is one of the nicest I've seen. Even the bathrooms are super nice and clean (I only saw the Men's toilet, but I'm sure the women's is just as nice.) Oh, and the car park is huge!! I highly recommend this place."
