"Nice place. I know it was busy, but a member of staff dropped a plate of cakes on the floor. It took nearly an hour for them to be cleared up, with staff and customers having to step over them to get past. Food was pretty good."

"Can't believe I haven't been here before! What an absolute gem. Beautiful little place with beautiful grounds to have a wander. HUGE TREES. Staff were very friendly, food was quick, hot, fresh and good quality. It was great to order food for a child and see that the quality was also really high - not the cheapest that can be found and sold for a huge profit (which it seems many other places get away with). Wonderful lunch definitely plan on returning."

"Cute location, and friendly staff. We were a table of four and none of us thinks the price reflects on the food. The sandwiches were so small, the ham sandwhiches were chewy and hard. The scones were small and very hard. And we thought not enough cream and jam for 4 people. Lattes and capuccinos not included in the price. Just filtered coffe and tea."

"Nice afternoon tea including salmon,egg and ham bread was also nice quite a few cakes and lovely scones with jam and real cream unlimited tea and filtered coffee well worth the money in my opinion."

"Nice location ruined by appalling service. We arrived at 2:30pm the time we booked and was promptly seated. We ordered our selection of tea's and tap water and was told it would be a moment. 35 MINUTES LATER we finally recieved our drinks and tap water and by 3:15pm we finally recieved our food (45 minutes later). The food itself was okay but nothing special and didn't have much savoury like other people mentioned. By the time we were half way through it was way too sweet and spoiled it. Staff wasn't very welcoming or helpful and did just enough to actually provide service. Overall lackluster. If you are looking for somewhere nicer I would reccomend the dining room in town."
