"A below average haircut by "Roberts". I asked for short on the sides and slicked back, but ended up looking like Kim-Jung Un. I now have a lopsided mop! He spent the first 10 minutes brushing my hair and then used the thinning scissors to cut the back. After that he put wax in my hair and then keep styling it. Only then did he cut the sides. I felt like he didn't know what he was doing. At that point I just gave up and wanted to end the haircut. After the cut I asked for another quick wash. He happily obliged, but then he left me standing there. I had to ask him to blow dry my hair and put gel in it. The stylist doesn't have the technique, ability or the experience, plus he was very tentative. The first time I went to Hawke and Blade was a walk in which was a good cut. Based on the strength of that cut, I booked online with "Roberts". I can't see how you can justify charging the same amount as the owner or senior stylist, when I essentially got my hair done by a trainee. Very disappointing experience!"
