"I arrived yesterday around 3. I was in a que with a man in front ,the barber said who is next in line ? The guy ahead of me said you carry on. This was the 1st sign... So sat down, barber asked what would you like? My reply was a tidy up around the sides and a beard trim. The result was awful. 1.The clippers he used hurt my neck to the point where it felt uncomfortable and painful,as a result I have 2 clear red lines on my neck a day later . I mentioned this to him , his reply this is normal . I don't think he looks after his equipment nor does he sharpen the blades, As this has never happened me before. 2. His bench was filthly, did not clean clippers from previous hair cut. As I could see the hair in the blades I felt worse coming out.. 3. The lines around my ears are both different in style and clearnece. beard lines not even, little attention to detail, it felt rushed. I now know why the man ahead said " you carry on". I won't be going back to this particular man. It's not the 1st time I have used the academy barbers beside macari's. I usually come out with a smile on my face.. I don't want to turn people away I just want to make them aware..."
