"Great training shoes sales here on occasion. Only place in EG I could get coloured ping pong balls for my cat as well oddly too. Staff very knowledgeable of their stock. Seem to know their stuff on numerous sports. Order service from instore also. Nice old fashioned great service. Bought my most favourite ever baseball bat here years ago. Still got it. I've been going in here for sports stuff since my secondary school days at Sackville school. Back to the mid to late seventies."
"Bought football boots and a rain jacket for my son, price for the boots was pretty much the same as Amazon. Rain jacket was too small, Herbert's Sports let me exchange for a larger one even though I had lost the receipt and had cut the tag off (still had the tag). I believe Herbert Sports continues to thrive as they have fantastic, knowledgeable staff, offer great service and competitive prices. I popped in recently to pick up some KT Tape. Craig from Herbert Sports was superb- he responded to my contact email very promptly, rang at the time agreed and then demonstrated immense patience as I "ummed and aahed" over which pair to choose. Craig took the time to send photos to further help with my deliberation ( I was unable to visualise the goods) but the cherry on top was him delivering them to my door, free of charge, whilst respecting social distancing rules.
