"This is a relatively new business. After they remodeled they had a fire in the night and their premises was destroyed. I live upstairs and fortunately my apartment didn't catch fire while I was sleeping, because they have no fire alarm (a bit irresponsible). After the fire I wanted to support a struggling business and wanted to become one of their customers. I regularly go when the salon is *completely* empty... and the staff always claim that they are too busy to cut my hair? There are no other customers... I went once to the salon, it was completely empty, I asked for a haircut and the owner (Moe) said they were closed, then I walked past 20 minutes later and there's a customer getting a haircut. I decided to formally book an appointment and when I arrived for my appointment the owner (Moe) said his calendar was full. I explained that my appointment is reserved in his notebook and he "checked" but didn't even ask my name. He said that I'm not in the appointment book. I'm not sure why he is refusing to provide me service specifically... I'm starting to think it's discrimination. Very unprofessional. My money is as good as anyone elses, and the salon charges above average prices (€25 for blade and scissors, and they don't even clean the equipment [scissors, trimmer] between customers) but I'm happy to pay for the convenience, as I live nearby. Thankfully there is a compeditor behind Lidl supermarket called City Barber which provide me service, no questions asked. And it's just around the corner. There's a guy there called Medi, and he does a good job. Also they are cheaper (€15 for blade and scissors). I ask other customers to please boycott this business, as discrimination is a serious issue. I wouldn't do business with them knowing how some people are being treated. I'm getting hives on my neck just from the stress of thinking about this. And I've to walk past it every day knowing they won't serve me (for some reason I don't even know why)."

"I been a customer for nearly 3 years now. i don’t know if i ever find someone as brilliant as Karlton Barbers. They are worth every cent. Go and see for for yourself. Spends at least 50 mins on a haircut. Does it to the perfection. Best service ever."
