"A little gem in the Mumbles. Clean, cosy and a great breakfast. This would be our first choice if we could get a room here. Well done to the owners, they have put a lot of thought and effort into their business and it shines through."
"Lovely, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean room with the added bonus of a sea view. Excellent breakfast, with extra toast and beverages willingly provided on request. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Most highly recommended!"
"Our stay was nothing short of superb. Firstly the location is faultless, it was a really nice touch to receive an SMS on arrival day with all the information that we needed. The room was exceptionally clean, it was functional but also had loads of personality from the modern and quirky fixtures and fittings. We instantly felt relaxed and welcome - and the bed was super comfy. Ordering breakfast was extremely simple. There was a great range of options to choose from. The dining room was intimate, but it didn't feel like the tables were on top of each other and never got busy. Just a steady flow of guests that made for a nice morning ambience. The service was friendly and attentive, and the breakfasts were absolutely cooked to perfection. Perfect to fuel a day's adventure. Absolutely will be looking to stay here again, couldn't recommend it enough. (The fact that we visited during a horrific storm and still had the absolute best time speaks volumes!)"
"Fantastic accommodation, incredible hosts and perfect room. Our stay at Coast House was superb. We stayed in room 5 which is a double with a bathroom and everything about it was just great. Bathroom was immaculate and the bed super comfy. It also has a slight sea view which was great. Breakfast was amazing, you got the menu the night before and had simple but fantastic options to choose from. Salmon on an English muffin the first day, full English breakfast for the second. Everything was prepared on the morning and in the kitchen by our host, Andrew and it was brilliant! We’ll definitely be back next time we in the Mumbles, Would highly recommend!!"
"We didn’t stay over the storm Eunice weekend since we were coming by train and they were cancelled. A great shame as a doctor working through that pandemic I was very much looking forward to getting away. Given the non -refundable rate the money was deducted anyway. Fair enough you might say, totally within the booking policy. I did ask Andrew if he might consider a refund or partial refund but he told me I couldn’t because I had booked through booking.com. I wrote to them to ask if they could do anything and they agreed and contacted Andrew. He declined. I did follow it up by writing to The Times travel doctor and she contacted booking.com to see what they could do.Booking.com were very good , they contacted Andrew again but he refused to issue any kind of refund. In the end Booking.com very kindly paid me the money. Just something for any prospective customer to reflect on. The policy is non-refundable 7 days before you go. No matter what. I accepted that of course when I booked but I won’t in the future. Lesson learnt. Of course people in hospitality need to make a living and insure themselves against people not turning up but equally a customer has a right to a product they have paid for."
