"Manager doesn't know how to use a card machine, asked me to leave because the machine said "this might be a duplicate transaction do you want to continue" and he kept pressing "cancel". I asked what would happen if he pressed "yes" and he said he's been a manager for 3 years, to which i replied i've been a shop owner for 13 years. Well, guess what, my card worked just fine 5 minutes later at the lovely Charles Street Tap down the road. I had never been asked to leave an establishment before, that was really quite awful and unnecessary. He could have asked me to go get cash, he could have taken a different transaction in between to see if it made a difference... he just really didn't seem interested to help whatsoever. What a gross experience."

"A small but perfectly formed bar with an excellent drinks menu at reasonable prices. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly barman named Adam who made the cocktails to perfection. We would recommend visiting and will definitely be back when we next visit Brighton. They advertise regular drag shows and we may try to combine our visit with one of these."
