"Far tooooo much fun for children and adults. Really good menu, super chill environment, laser tag is great fun. Staff are incredible and extremely friendly and welcoming. Would recommend and will always be on list of places to go, hang out during the day or evening..."
"Absolutely fantastic experience! Staff were incredible! I took my little boy there with a bunch of his friends on his Birthday for some laser tag. Everything was taken care of. 10 out of 10! Cannot fault them at all. We shall come again!"
"I Took my daughter and a few of her friends for her birthday and Safe to say it was an absolute hit! Welcoming, friendly staff, a clean play area and lots of good choice of snacks. Both kids and adults had a blast at laser tag, which was so well organised. We will be back!"
"We had the most wonderful time for my 5 year old's build a bear party last weekend. Our host April was so welcoming and engaging, she had the little ones captivated whilst they made their bears and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great selection of bears/cuddly toys to choose from. The venue was clean, food was freshly cooked and tasty and the cafe prices are reasonable for by-standers. The movie room is a nice extra and great for chilling out after all the excitement of a party. I was really impressed when April asked all the children to go and wash their hands for lunch and then cleaned their table whilst they were doing so! Never had that before at a party so it was really great to see such good hygiene practice. Thank you April, we will definitely be recommending and coming again."
"We have been using labyrinth play cafe for years and have always enjoyed the welcoming attitude from the staff and on most occasions the other customers. Since we first started attending we did always follow the guidance to buy food on the premises due to the fact entry was free and it was accommodating for all diets and allergies. Sadly as time went on this changed due to numerous reasons and at one point entry was £5 which came off of the bill of your meal, again this was reasonable as we always stayed for lunch however this is definitely NOT a £5 play area. As time has passed the warm welcome has become cooler and more often than not children who are far too old for the play area are allowed to run riot in the intervals of their laser games upstairs. This can become quite traumatic and dangerous for the under 5 audience that the play area is advertised to. Fast forward to today, a cold, wet September morning. We attended one of our ‘go to’ play areas for small children and due to a change in the bread they offer my friend chose the option of taking her children their lunch due to their soya and dairy allergy. We were still more than happy to pay the entry fee and order our own food. Once our children were eating we eagerly awaited our lunch after enjoying a nice coffee. We were approached with haste by the woman we believe to run labyrinth and a woman we have never had an issue with. She challenged our children eating their own food immediately and pointed out that they could eat hummus on a ciabatta, not really an appropriate diet for a 1 year old with minimal teeth! We attempted to apologise for the confusion and offer some explanation but she DEMANDED we left immediately if our children were to carry on eating. The food we had ordered was then ready and we were left with no choice other than to pay the bill of over £30 and take our meals with us into the torrential rain. We felt victimised and unsatisfied with the customer service of an establishment we have advertised to so many of our friends. Our children had to eat their lunch which was wet in a nearby cafe and we had to eat our food which was cold in the rain as we had already purchased it. It is safe to say we will NEVER return to this play cafe and will advise all of our friends to do the same. We are utterly devastated and will be spending rainy days elsewhere from now on."
