"I went in on Tuesday to get a haircut. As soon as I walked in it felt as though the stylist wasn’t that happy to see me. (I thought first because I had arrived 15 minutes late, for an appointment which I booked earlier that same day and requested a later one since I am coming from far away, and to which I had already apologised on the phone and further stated the reason for being late when I arrived). Just because you drop a forced smile now and again doesn’t mean I’m blind to the hostile reception I got. I told the stylist I wanted curtain bangs (which I had to bring up since they didn’t ask me about any haircut I wanted in particular which I thought was a bit odd). I mentioned before they started cutting my hair that I don’t really know how to style curtain bangs to which they said nothing. I then mentioned I’ve been wanting to colour my hair (since I had seen such good reviews for colouring about this place), to which they practically had nothing to say either about what they could do. And then I KNEW it definitely was not just in my head when, after the haircut I requested an appointment for colouring and I got a distasteful response where it was obvious, they were not keen on having me back since they did not mention any day that they would be free to do so after a possibly busy schedule. Which I’m not sure what the problem was if there is any since I remained as pleasant a customer as I could throughout the entire appointment giving them the benefit of the doubt. As for the actual haircut, the ends look as uneven as when I had chopped them myself at home long before (also which I had mentioned to them). I checked multiple times over the last few days just in case it might have been how my hair was on a particular day but I can’t even look at it in the mirror now without getting annoyed. And I think anyone would say the ‘curtain FRINGE’ hasn’t been cut properly at all either. An absolute disgrace, and a waste of time and money. P.S, I use ‘they’ as I am unaware of their preferred pronouns and do not want to offend anyone."
