"I booked The Luxy Pedicure through Treatwell, and I can’t leave a review there as they cancelled my appointment even though I received the pedicure, I guess that’s why they have such a high rating. I booked this salon as the one I normally go to was fully booked and I needed a pedicure very last minute, and they had high rating so I thought I’d try it. First impression of the salon itself was good, very pretty, seemed clean and organized . There was only one gent there when I came in and he seemed inconvenienced and uninterested when I told him I had an appointment. He had me pick a color for polish and went off to set up. When he was ready we headed back to get started and he just stood there staring while I got myself settled into the chair . The whole experience was kind of tense and every now and then I would find him staring at me so I would just smile awkwardly. It was very uncomfortable and I felt very unwelcome. He didn’t show me the color until after he had painted my nails and my foot was in such a position that I couldn’t see as he was painting. If he had of checked with me earlier I would have told him that wasn’t the color I picked but at that point it was already done and I just wanted out of there. Pedicure wasn’t great, didn’t shape the nails nicely. paint job was messy and honestly could have done better myself . I really wanted to like this place ."

"4.5 hours for gel and shellac toes. Had to go back with gel nails as they ALL Chipped. They fixed two only but done them a different shade. They had to redo them which was AGAIN the wrong shade. I then was told To come back the following day to fix them. I can’t go back as I’m going away. €85 and they are in bits two days later. Avoid."

"My girlfriend went here and came back quite upset 3 hours later. Wanted eyelashes and nails done. The girl who did her eyelashes barely looked up from her phone and despite constantly being asked left everything on too long, ignored her concerns and left glue all over her eyelids. She also left mascara all over her as well ad the glue which is quite an issue for her at work. The girl doing them was on her phone the entire time and not interested in her being worried about how long it was left. They put the acrylic on her nails too thin and then accidentally snapped one off and had to then cut the rest to suit. She asked to have everything taken off as she was upset with the terrible job. They then tried to insist she paid full price and relented to giving her ten euro off as other customers complained and said they were also unhappy and she shouldn’t be charged. Joke of a business. AVOID."

"Worst customer service. Do not recommend this salon, this is how my nails looked like after one week. Poor quality. Keep raising their prices for my nails to look like this. Very rude and never asked if I was happy with them made me feel rushed out the door. Will not be going back or recommending anyone to go."
