Reviews of Wings Aviation Museum
"You have to visit to believe what this fantastic museum has to offer. The volunteers are so welcoming and a big thank you has go to George for showing us around there restoration workshop and there on going project’s There so much to see you have to visit again just to take it all in. Thank you so much for a great visit."
"This is a very unusual museum, out of the way and situated on a farm which add to its charm. The exhibition comprises at least 90% crash recovered items so there is very little intact but it is arranged to depict how they were recovered. The emphasis is on the minutiae and detail with background stories explained by friendly and helpful staff. Maybe they could increase the amount of complete items to balance the wreckage but definitely worth a visit. No cafe."
"What a wonderful place. So much history and the volunteer are amazing. They spent loads of time explaining things to my son, who was transfixed. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful day."
"The museum is brilliant, myself and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it, found it had loads of very interesting information and stories with each display. The volunteers are very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all passionate. All of this shows in the museum and its collection. I would highly recommend a visit if youre into ww2 history and/or aviation. A big thank you to Bernie in the Radio shack for taking the time to tell us all about the radios in the shack !"
