"Saw a car on done deal that was with Coby Motors so contacted them for some information. Dave got back to me and when I asked him if the timing chain had been done (pretty simple ask I reckon) he responded with " when we take in a trade we don't dismantle the engine" Not sure if all of the staff are as inept and rude as Dave but surely when a trade is taken in one would imagine some basic checks are done and it is determined whether a car with 180000 kms on the clock has had the timing chain done or not, apparently not here. Despite it being advertised as having been fully serviced by Coby By the way Dave, all you need to do is pop the bonnet and it will be written there right in front of you in white marker - no engine dismantling required, a basic reading level is all that's required. Congrats Dave as there will never be custom from me with this company after your response."

"Bought a car a few yrs ago, car looked very good. But sadly had it only a week when the clutch went, they were very reluctant to fix it. As I was told when I rang about the problem they said car was sold as seen. I was not told this when I bought it, also car had been in a bang as the boot was out of line. "Went to look at a first car for my daughter. The ad stated that the car was ‘immaculate’. When we got there the car was actually quite rough with numerous scuffs and marks. The price and mileage was also different to what was in the ad, they simply said it was a mistake. The young sales guy was ok, the owner (I think his name was Gary) seemed a bit shady. All in all I did not have a positive experience with this place and I would not recommend them"
