"I contacted Dave as I had the engine light come on in my car. Dave came out to look at it and told me that there was a problem with the EGR valve and that it just needs to be cleaned. I also mentioned that the heater in the car wasn’t working correctly and there was also a light that needed to be replaced. Dave asked me about the timing belt, and said that it would need to be replaced. Dave charged me €45 for the test. I asked him for a receipt and if he could send me a quote to fix all the problems that had come up and to replace the timing belt and also replace the oil in the car. I got a quote for €480, and I gave Dave the go ahead to fix it, which he did. But this is where the problems started. After getting the car back, the engine light came back on after driving the car for 25 minutes. The heater is also still not working correctly also. So the only thing I know for sure that got fixed was the light. I have called and texted Dave many many times to handle this, but he hasn’t returned my calls or texts. I also haven’t gotten a receipt for either the trip out or the work done on the car. It has been one month since the work was done on the car, so I’ve given him more than enough time to fix the car and give me a receipt for the work done. So, as you can imagine I’m not happy about this. I don’t like having to write a bad review (and I left a message with Dave to that affect), but I feel I have to in case it happens to someone else, as €525 is a lot of money to give away."

"Excellent service at short notice- My alternator went and car needed a service. Dave arrived to my house within an hour and half of getting a call and looked after everything quickly and reasonably.He explained and showed me everything he was doing and car is back to normal-better then normal - new king life spark plugs! He also communicated and turned up when he said he would which is refreshing in today's world. The best thing is it was all carried out on my drive way which saved me having to get my car towed. Would highly recommend Dave-extremely good service."
