"Didnt got chance to even get my car examined for a very small job. My nct was due next day was promised appointment on Tuesday took a day off but when I went the man there said no we are busy come back another day and didnot even bothered listening. They lack even basic manners of communication and humanity. Felt like being treated as garbage. Will never recommend this place to anyone not because if their work but their behaviour which is very important for any succesfull business. If they kept doing this no wonder they will loose customers."
"Relatively quick responses to messages, but... Selling a car they don't physically have because it was borrowed. 4 days of waiting for the car to come back and every day it was supposed to be the next day. The car finally comes back, is available to view and is immediately sold. Wasted time."
"I bought the car from Coby Autos. I highly recommend the seller. Very professional customer service. I'm very satisfied with my car."
"Was recommended this mechanic due to their expertise with electronically gear. That mechanic provides an itemised quote before any work proceeds. Naively I thought Coby would be of the same cloth. A hybrid Honda civic. I was getting aircon refilled but because my 12v battery completely died I was getting that replaced and a hybrid battery diagnostic to make sure it wasn’t the problem. Joe seemed helpful and fair and certainly knowledgable. He recommended getting the battery done and then testing it to see if it was worth doing more. I was to be called with a quote beyond the 12v battery before things proceeded. I was very pleased and felt it was in good hands at that point. The call that came was that the 12v was changed, diagnostic done and fine, air con regassed, and a bill of €550. This included labour in excess of €300 for 3 hours, part of which of 51km test drive I could have done myself. Not withstanding the excessive €100 per hour labour, my issue was the lack of follow through with the quote followed by a nonchalant slap of a €550 bill for a 12v battery, aicon gas and voltage diagnostic. The work seemed to be fine so it is a pity. There is no way I would have chosen to pay €100 for a mechanic to drive my car 50km, or indeed take a 100-200 diagnostic had I been given the option. There was no acknowledgement of the not having consulting me as was agreed, and no apology until I had completely lost my temper and indicated that I’d have to borrow money for the bill. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I’ve lost my temper with a business and in this case the lack of follow through on their word, lack of communication about money, lack of consideration of customers’ financial situations (especially new ones), and indeed lack of taking responsibility for all the above things things really ticked me off."
