"Use to be great when trade discount was always applied when you order, now I find I miss the deadline and drop to 5% or even back to 0% which then makes me use Wickes as it's always 10% in there, so makes it hard to get back to having a discount, the trade entrance is now for everyone to use so still have to wait behind normal shoppers, at least the free trade delivery is good but this is also slow as only deliver to certain areas a week, I ordered doors from Wickes the other day and they were sent out next day before noon. Slowly using less and less"
"Staff are friendly, the issue with trade point is they got rid of there own store room which had trade only brands. There is no discount unless you spend a lot in there all the time. Even then if you know someone with the over 60s diamond card you will save more than the trade card. Trade point used to be great until the higherachy changed to much now trade is basically a bulk goods entrance and exit. The only member in the department who knows anything about the construction industry is Paul who is always helpful and has a great deal of knowledge. I'm honestly surprised he isn't the trade manager by now."
