Reviews of Grand Pier Guest House (SPECIAL RATE for direct book)
"Location perfect! Near everything. Service was good very friendly offered to take bags up to top floor. Rooms were cosy although could be a lot cleaner. Dusty and bathroom had mould on ceiling and orange grout in shower from not being cleaned. Carpets dirty qnd towels had stains on them but we bought our own qnd the beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't available so can not comment the room is very expensive for what it is"
"Lovely room, very clean & comfortable. Perfect for a weekend break. As this is literally room only, there are no staff on site unless to greet you on arrival & take you to your room. Lovely little café around the corner for breakfast (little miss piggy's). Well situated, just a few minutes walk from the seafront & Pier."
"Me and my partner stayed here for three days as a last minute get away. Starting with the B&B’s location, with a high street around the corner with many cafes and restaurants. The beach is a stones throw away as well which is perfect for any beach lovers. As for The Grand Pier, we arrived slightly earlier then planned and used the phone numbers they provided on a little sign on the door, to contact them and ask for the parking permit, whilst we waited for our room. Parking was £10 per 24hour. So only £30 for our three day stay which is really good considering how rubbish Brighton is for parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful, asking if we needed help with our bags. It was very clean inside and tidy. We stayed on the top floor, and our room was immaculate. Our bed was very comfy and the room was cosy. A small TV for in the evening and a fan for them hot days. I managed to lose the key for the room and spoke to Rick who told me not worry and that the cheapest option for me would be to go get the spare key cut. This took a load off my shoulders expecting a huge charge. Rick was very friendly and always had a smile on his face. Thank you for our stay :)"
"This hotel is really well situated in a street opposite the beach, it really couldn't be better situated. It was a bit complicated to check in as we had to call the receptionist a few times in order to actually enter the building. Rick was really friendly and quick to help us. The rooms are comfortable and modern with good beds. However, sometimes the shower was sporadic, switching between hot and cold water, which was slightly unpleasant."
"Room is clean, modern and we'll set out. The building is very nice, owners too are really nice and polite. Conscious of us being happy. Not had breakfast yet but you can't get better than this for its money here. Edit because i couldn't add a second I've edited. We came back and saw a note from one of the team saying she hoped it was okay but she put our drinks we left in the sink in buckets to keep them cool and so our sink was free. That is customer service at it's best. Genuine sweet people."
