Cappadocia Guesthouse Brighton

"The hotel is very cozy, the receptionist was superb, she called me in advance to know when we were arriving so the room would be ready. It is a tiny hotel in a very central location and it feels like a bit of Cappadocia just in the middle of a U.K. city. They have lots of Turkish details that make it feel exceptional and unique. The bed was very comfortable and the standards of the room were excellent, the only little issue was the size of the bathroom, it is not very spacious, but we didn't mind :)"

"If you go expecting quirky, you won't be disappointed. Aside from them both having a large, comfortable bed, this place is the polar opposite of a Premier Inn, at about the same price. A little cramped in the bathroom, but the room was a good size and had everything we needed. It was clean, and had a few unusual features, in keeping with the Cappadocia theme. Access is up a fairly narrow staircase. The lady that checked us in was friendly. And the rooms are above a cafe that serves breakfast from 8am (10% discount for Cappadocia guests). The guesthouse is located in a popular area, daytime and evening. Expect some noise outside. This is the price to pay for the convenient location. Near the station, the Dome, and the North Laine shops and cafes. Brighton's not a fun place to drive in, but if you need to travel by car, there are a few car parks nearby, costing about £30-£35 per 24 hours. We used the NCP Theatre car park."

"Pros incl. comfy bed, very central location and lovely cafe below. Cons incl. basic/run down room, lingering smell of cigarette smoke in corridors and room, noisy at night. Overall, felt it wasn't good value for money."

"I was quite poorly disappointed by my stay at the guest house. The room was falling apart like the table hanging off of the wall, broken chandelier, and the bathroom door that just wouldn't close. There was also a giant mix up with the payment like the staff had no idea what was going on and had to be resolved at the end of my trip leaving me with no money the whole time. The only redeeming qualities was the positioning of the guest house and the quality of the showers (which was lovely). Everything else unfortunately left me really disappointed."
