Reviews of One Broad Street
"Pin check in was easy and great. Room is really nice and modern, will prepare you there is stairs, bathroom very dated and defo could do with a update! We did not have towels however was correct, location isn't brilliant for parking but no the owners fault but location is good!"
"Exactly as advertised. Lovely hotel. Room. Facilities and Location. Great communication with Hotel owners regarding check in. Was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it a lot. Also we went to see Blue so was ideal to come back to after a long evening. Can't wait for an excuse to come back"
"One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The room was beautifully presented and clean and the addition of earplugs, though neither of us used them, was a brilliant thought. The beds were comfortable, and even though there were other people in the building we felt safe, secure and didn’t get disturbed by anyone. I personally am autistic and am always worried when going to hotels whether the environment is going to be neurodivergent friendly and it 100% was. Lighting wasn’t too harsh, everything was comfortable, there were no annoying noises from the room itself and though the street outside was noisy the owners clearly thought of that two and provided earplugs for free! Overall the room was comfortable and clean and is definitely my go to place to stay in Brighton from now on!"
"I stayed in this hotel with my sister for two nights, and although the location was great it became obvious over a day or so that the hotel is not fit for purpose. Although we found it aesthetically pleasing when we first arrived, we soon found out that many of the features of the room were poor quality and not functional. The sheets did not fit the mattress and repeatedly came loose in the night and the electrics did not work properly so we could not shut off the lights. There was also black mold in the bathroom, the doorknob fell off repeatedly and the shower drain became blocked at one point making it so we could not take showers. Our room also backed on to a courtyard which was noisy at night and smelled horrible with smokers outdoors. Great location near the sea but would not visit again."
"Starting with the good: - Self check-in and getting in and out of the hotel worked flawlessly. - Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Now the bad: - incredibly uncomfortable bar stool meant doing any kind of work from the hotel was impossible - very tiny sink in the bathroom made daily hygiene routine quite challenging - shower pressure and heat control were very bad, shower head didn’t hold in place on the wall so had to hold it to shower - no lift and very steep stairs up a lot of floors - absolutely no staff on site meant on checkout day I was afraid to leave the hotel in case the system didn’t let me back in Place might be okay to crash at for a night in Brighton, but I can’t recommend multi-day-stays here."
