Reviews of O'Reilly's Bar & Lounge
"AVOID! VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF! Absolutely horrendous experience here! Spent roughly 50 or 60 euro on drinks and snacks while watching the world cup final. When I walked up to order another drink during extra time they said my other 2 friends must order or they need to leave. Despite the fact that they already bought drinks and snacks. They refused to give me a drink as I was the only one purchasing a drink and when I returned to the table, 3 staff aggressively crowded our table and pressured us to leave. One of them threatened to send us to A&E and made a racist remark. We were shocked and we left immediately. This is a struggling business that will rudely pressure you into purchasing more items then you want. AVOID especially if you are a tourist!"
"Be warned the pints are an extra euro if you've not got an Irish accent. Beer prices are not displayed. Although beer is very good. Atmosphere is very different to most other Irish bars. Definitely a rogues bar. Good pub to sell stolen goods. I witnessed this twice in the hour I was there."
"Worst experience here ever. Waitress was lovely however never listened to requests when it came to nachos. Food came out before drinks and were also wrong. Hot chocolate was cold. Wasn’t given cutlery to eat the food until asked. Asked for no guac and sour cream came with everything sent it back and just got mince beef on top no salsa or jalapeños like the menu says. EDIT: Among paying I approached a girl working there about my bill and explained to her and at first she walked away and I thought she was doing something about it but comes back and asks for payment I pay and remind her and she then continues to tell me that she doesn’t care because I’ve already paid now. So I then told someone else who told the managers, and straight away among telling them they refunded my nachos and drink."
"Came in, asked the bartender a question, his ignored it and walked by me. I didn't realize he was the bartender to be honest.. But when I came inside no one was working and he had few customers. He stood outside for a few mins. And as he was coming back in I left, realizing that this rude encounter was in fact the bartender."
