"AVOID! Bought an expensive item that broke down within first six months, sent it back, repaired then sent back with a broken part, returned it to be repaired for the second time. Now its broken for the third time, same issue as the first Nisbets say as its (less than two weeks) outside of warranty it's not their problem, despite the fact that its been with Nisbets for more than two weeks being repaired. So basically Nisbets practice is to keep repairing faulty items until warranty runs out then wash their hands of it. My advice to anyone is if you have an item thats faulty then ASK FOR A REFUND. They are happy to lose a loyal customer who's had an account with them for over a decade."
"Recently purchased a 5L pump action airpot and stainless steel jug. Ordered Sunday afternoon, delivered the next day. Unfortunately one of the items was damaged, a replacement was in my hands within 24 hours. Great service!"
"I bought the smoothie maker for over £200.00 and just over one month broken and I took back to exchange but they said only we do repairing not exchanging!!! Oven all I have been waiting for over a weeks and they still don’t know how long it going to take."
"My first review ever! This shop is shocking Overpriced Understocked They never know when new stock is arriving (Which is shocking in this day and age) Couldn’t even buy an induction pan! Run by washed up chefs who all seem very vacant I feel like nisbetts takes advantage of a desperate industry"
"CATERING FOR MAMMON! - I STRONGLY advise people to thoroughly check items prior to purchase, especially as their prices veer towards expensive compared to other shops such as Robert Dyas. I bought a glass bowl along with other items as a gift and later discovered a nasty chip in the rim. Lockdown followed and I was unable to return it within the 3 month limit. Despite it still having it's wrapping and original adhesive label on and that I spent £35 in total on the bowl and other goods no concession for lockdownwas made. Also they have no understanding that some people may not for health or other reasons be able to prioritize returning their faulty goods. Money grabbing, ungenerous and nit-picking would sum up their attitude on the telephone. They can obviously afford to lose custom and they have lost mine. I bought a replacement bowl elsewhere for half the price."
