Reviews of Rye River Café
"I love this cafe so much!! The coffee is amazing. Everyone is so lovely. The interior is just gorgeous. My food was delicious. Would highly recommend to stop here for a bite. The bathrooms are adorable. Will 100% make this a stop before my Dublin trips. Close to the motorway."
"Ordered the medium breakfast after waiting to be seated for approx 20 mins but you know the way time seems so much longer when you have to wait and you're somewhat hungry. The table was a bit sticky so we asked to have it cleaned down again while we waited for our order to be served. Freshly prepared I sprinkled some salt onto it and found a hair on my egg. I think it came from the salt cellar (it was a dark and wide dispenser). The server was quick to take the plate away and was promptly back with just the fried egg replaced which I accepted. The breakfast was very nice, with no excess grease to spoil the taste. Service was good for a very busy place as it has a good reputation. It was my second time back and I would be happy to eat there again just please ensure the tables are clean. No one likes a table wipe-down when they are sitting at it. If you should decide to visit here, allow a bit of a wait at busy times - you cannot book in advance but I think you'll enjoy the food and atmosphere. This place is dog-friendly and parking is about 5 minutes away."
"Lovely Burrito breakfast in a warm and cosy spot. It was very busy but the food was amazing and service also. Lovely to see a place doing so well. Attention to detail was excellent. Highly recommend this spot. You won't regret visiting."
"Lovely space and equally as lovely meal. As a party of 3 we rocked up just past 11 on a busy day and within 15 minutes were seated. The hostess had asked if we were aware the food can be a while, which was good in setting the right expectation for their guests. That being said, food was timely and delicious. The reclaimed church space added a unique and cozy touch. Would definitely recommend! The breakfast burritos and Irish breakfast were enjoyed alongside a side of sweet potatoes (chips are not included in the meals so be sure to order a side of them to be properly full)."
"We came across this place on our drive out of Dublin this week. Stopped in and had to wait a few minutes for a table, which was a good sign that it must be a good place. Service was very friendly and quick once we were seated. I had the special of the day which was a buffalo chicken sandwich, and my wife had the tuna melt. Both of our meals were spectacular! We ended the meal with some coffee and hot chocolate, which were also very good. Great experience here, and would recommend to anyone in the area!"
