"My favourite place to visit whilst out for a walk in the village. Dog friendly, excellent service and gorgeous food. The team are always so welcoming and attentive. The best dish has to be the sausage and mash, the bangers are top quality! Props to the kitchen team. Special mention to George, Chloe and Emma. They always have a smile on their face when i walk in! Just overall a lovely place."

"We visited the Red Lion for dinner recently and had a good visit. It was busy so at the weekend I would recommend booking. Very reasonably priced food and drinks with good offers. The service was quite slow but they looked understaffed so not their fault. I would recommend ordering food & drink at the bar rather than through the app as this took substantially longer to arrive when done this way. Overall a good visit though and would return."
"We had heard about the live music here on Wednesday afternoons and thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed! We had so much fun in the company of cheerful, talented musicians and also got a really warm welcome from the lovely locals too. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and served up top quality drinks with a smile. Great atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable experience, we'll be back at the Old Red Lion soon!"
