"We came to Stafford for a day trip. The local folks recommended Soup Kitchen and it was fair to say I was not disappointed. We were greeted with friendly and warm waiting staffs. The service is excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff who are always happy to make recommendations and answer any questions. The restaurant's attention to detail is evident in all aspects of the dining experience, from the carefully crafted menu to the well-presented dishes. The atmosphere is lively, with a buzz of conversation and laughter filling the room. The restaurant is also well-maintained, with a clean and attractive dining area that adds to the overall experience."
"We love this place! Make a detour off the M6 everything we're passing. Husbands family have been coming here for 35 years and they're apparently as consistently as good now as they were then. Wonderful food, great and welcoming with our kids and impeccable service. Literally my favourite tea room in the country! Don't stop doing what you do best!"
"This place was recommended to us and, while it was OK, I'm not sure what the fuss is about. Most servers were friendly. We were greeted as we came in and told someone would be with us. It wasn't until another couple came in that we were actually seated. Even then, the male server went directly to the couple who came in after us before turning to us and asking if we were waiting for a table (I'm not sure what other reason he thought we had for waiting there). Apart from that, though, service was good. I had a roast beef dinner. Again, it was OK but the roast potatoes(usually my favourite part of a roast) were disappointingly anaemic. The best part was the beef. There wasn't a lot of it but it was lean and tasty. At around £35 for 2 meals and soft drinks, it's more than I'd usually pay for lunch. It's a nice place/building with lots of seating - although some of the seating is quite crammed in. Perhaps I'll revisit but I won't go out of my way to do so. I wouldn't recommend for wheelchair users."
"Such a cool spot, lots of cosy little booths & the decor was very cottagey. I had the "all day breakfast" oatcakes and they were so good. Followed by the lemon meringue pie, which was twice the size I thought it would be. It was a lovely dessert but don't think I would order that one again as the brownie my friend got looked infinitely more decadent. They even added a couple scoops of ice cream for her."
"We had a wonderful meal here at this family friendly café. The local oatcakes are lovely."
