The Salvation Army, Worthing Corps
About the Business
Welcome to The Salvation Army, Worthing Corps! Our institution, located at 9-13 Crescent Rd in Worthing, United Kingdom, has been serving the community since its establishment as a church in 1883. Over the years, we have become a beloved point of interest in the area and continue to be a place of worship for individuals of all backgrounds and walks of life.
Our mission is to positively impact the lives of those in our community, and we do so through a variety of programs and services. Our church emphasizes the teachings of Jesus Christ and offers weekly services and Bible studies to deepen our understanding of His principles. We also offer pastoral care to those in need, providing a listening ear and guidance to anyone who seeks it.
In addition to our church services, we also have many community-oriented programs that focus on helping those in need. Our food bank provides regular food parcels to those who are struggling financially, and we offer support groups for individuals dealing with addiction. We also offer youth programs, music ministries, and senior citizen groups to bring people together and provide a sense of community.
At The Salvation Army, Worthing Corps, our goal is to be a beacon of hope and positivity in our community. We welcome anyone who is seeking spiritual guidance, assistance, or simply a place to connect with others. Come and visit us at our establishment on Crescent Rd, and see for yourself why we are such an important point of interest in Worthing!

"Lovely meaningful and well presented true messages and genuinely good people there too"
"Lovely place full of caring, kind people who are trying to do good things for the local community. They should get far more recognition and thanks for what they do for others."
"Reception friendly, you can also get a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake."

"(Due to a Maps glitch - this place shows up on Hythe Rd instead of Crescent Rd. Do not go to Hythe Rd!) The Child Contact Service is absolutely priceless, the staff are delightful, cautious-working, selfless and professional volunteers that are seriously needed in the area to help children and non-resident parents reunite to transform the lives of so many incredibly great children that just want to be left alone to see their estranged parent. The size of the play areas is large, the variety of toys and furniture is perfect for all children and of coarse, the safety of parents and children is paramount. They have snacks and drinks available, toilets and plenty of safe-space. They’re open almost every other Saturday and the one time referral is £40, easy to process and self referrals are accepted."
