Co-op Food - Patcham

"Don't know if this is really fair because I am sure that the staff would be lovely in person. I am injured and order some food over deliveroo. I've been charged for two items that were not packed. That's quite annoying because I cannot walk at the moment."

"The afternoon shift at this store were absolute angels today and proved that excellent customer service doesn't have to come at a price. I was visiting Patcham for the first time and I had travelled from Whitehawk. My phone had my bus ticket on it and was about to die, so I thought I'd go in and ask for directions to walk home, as I didn't really have any other options. The staff informed me that it would, in fact, have taken me two hours to walk home, so they offered to charge my phone for me for about half an hour. I told them I didn't have any money so I wouldn't be able to buy anything and they were completely fine with me staying there for free. The two young ladies that helped me were absolutely amazing - They were kind, patient and accommodating! I was even offered a stool to sit on whilst it was charging. Thanks to their support, I made it home in one piece. I don't know what I would have done without them. I didn't catch their names, but I'd like to thank them personally for helping me out!"

"Totally disgusting just got some mouldy wedges under wait from what it was ment to be made with bruised potatoes I have used this shop for 20 years and will never return the staff are amazing and always helpful but coop is letting them down very limit stock now days Sainsburys is close and Asda not much further I would recommend using them not the coop"

"It has a reasonable range of food available from simple sandwiches for packed lunch to most items to make an evening meal. It has a small bakery, green grocers, wines, beers and spirits and newspapers with magazines. It is covid safe with one way systems, screens at tills and self service checkouts and they limit the amount of customers in the shop at busy times. The shop is usually very well stocked and the staff are friendly."
