"As a Portuguese, it’s really hard to find true Portuguese food made with great quality ingredients in the U.K. Lucky, a couple of months ago I visited Maria’s Kitchen for lunch. It was life changing. The place is very welcoming, very cozy. The people are really nice and helpful. But the food. Oh my! The food is tasty, well cooked, well seasoned, well served. It’s like being in Portugal (actually, I’ve had worse Portuguese food in Portugal). The seafood rice is a piece of heaven! It’s my second time and I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"We got there at 12 on a sunday ,the owner received us incredibly bad because we were not part of a group reservation, we were only 4 people and he was panicking because he was alone and he had to serve everyone alone ,than he started saying that we needed a reservation and not to show up again without one ,i did told him that i look online and i saw nothing about having to make a reservation and he replied that he can't add that to the site online it look bad. He was rude to the point we end up deciding to leave... Honestly the worst experience i ever had and never going back there. Ive been in the old one and this one a few times even Christmas events there and to the owner to speak to people the way he did is unforgivable..."

"Beautiful food… I had Bacalhau com natas and it was better than in Portugal itself. Good size portions and nice kids food too! Drove 45 minutes for lunch but was definitely worth it! Will be booking again soon! Thank you"

"Made a short stop to have a cup of espresso. It was very delicious, far better than any served in popular cafe chains. For sure I will come back to have Portuguese dinner."
