"Lovely venue and great service. Food let it down when we visited. The full English had a strangely flavoured sausage and my black pudding was like a stone. It might have just been an off day/meal but I am unlikely to return. Oh, coffee was ok too. Does this warrant three stars? Only for the lovely lady that served us."

"Dropped in for a late breakfast on Sunday. Really attentive on arrival, two staff arrived at the door, and was swiftly seated in the dining room. Ordered avo on toast with poachie which arrived with mushroom, tomato and rocket... it was perfect. Latte could've done with an extra shot for me (but since I didn't ask for one, that's my problem not theirs). The cakes looked scrummy so that's for another time... young chap that served me was excellent, really good customer experience."
