"I don’t understand the bad reviews as I’ve had a pleasant experience every single time. Their prices are also very competitive. The nail artists have all been really lovely and chatty. I always leave happy and won’t go anywhere else. Thank you!"
"AVOID AVOID AVOID Especially the male mail technician. I was there with my friend on her birthday and while she was getting a gel acrylic manicure, the man doing her nails was very rough on her cuticles despite her telling him multiple times that she’s in pain, his response being “this is how it’s done” After it was done she said she wasn’t comfortable paying the full £25 and he said “it’s fine talk to the boss” then out of nowhere started yelling at her about how she’s being unreasonable he even went as far to GRAB HER ARM to drag her to another customer in the shop to make her explain how he did a good job. The manicure was fine but the amount of pain she was in was unacceptable. He continues to yell and scream at us in the shop, took her photo to “remember her face”, the women in the shop tried to calm her down but honestly nothing helped. I ended up paying £20 for my friend because it got so heated AVOID AVOID AVOID"
"The lady seemed friendly enough but the service was very poor and I should have left after I had a pedicure, which took far longer than it should have done, as the lady (shop owner she told me) was doing manicures/pedicures for up to 2 or more other people, as she was working alone. She didn't put a base coat on my feet and I had no foot massage or hand massage, which is common practice. She persuaded me to have the manicure ,which I said I no longer wanted, as I didn't have the time due to the slow service. The varnish on my feet and nails was applied in an unprofessional way - I could have done it myself for the quality of her service. Also, as others have mentioned, the salon did not look clean and the nail tools did not appear to be sanitised. She also did not do any cuticle work - a waste of £35 (£25 for the manicure and £10 for the nails). I would never go back there."
"Avoid! Just went in for an express nail repair for two of my nails that broke today. They did not have the colour I had on my nails, as I get my nails done elsewhere, so I asked the nail practitioner lady to fix my two broken nails, and change the colour on the rest of my nails as well, to make them all the same. She was rude, banged my watch several times on the plastic wall that separates clients from practitioners, and then charged me £20. Two broken acrylic nails fixed and change of colour. A full set would be £25 with 25% off, totalling to £20, so I don't quite understand their pricing, but because I was in a hurry, I decided not to kick off, and just pay the price, walk off, write my opinion here, and never return. Save yourself a journey, and go elsewhere, unless you want unprofessional and mediocre service and nails."
"Terrible experience. Came for a “luxury pedicure” as listed and walked away with a good chunk of my heel missing, alongside an overall poor pedicure. After rushing through my friends shellac acrylic set (again, poorly painted...) the technician began my pedicure with a rough start. Even when filing my nails, she was very rough and demanded I “look away” because I was too tense. Next she came with the callous remover. Thankfully she applied a new razor however literally all of the tools were disgusting, clearly not sanitized and just tossed in the cart. She began to swipe at my feet pretty roughly and took out a big chunk of my heel (see photo below). She showed absolutely NO remorse and just aggressively pressed a napkin to it and then, without explaining or asking, she grabbed a bottle of antiseptic and literally poured it on the open wound. At this point I exclaimed and was in tears to which she said “you’re a cry baby”. She continued to use a scrub and lotion on my feet. Blood was everywhere. She then grabbed a cotton ball and taped it to my foot. A 5£ discount was given. Overall, don’t bother going here. There are plenty other options that will give you a clean environment, better overall product and good customer service. This place failed in all areas. It’s worth noting that when she went to the basement for whatever reason, she came up and immediately the entire place smelled of marijuana. No judgement, but surely not at a place of business."
