"Took ages finding and valuing my trade in items when only took me a few minutes to find on their website! Tried to diddle me out of £40 on one item I was selling by selecting wrong model, never specified what the values were of several other items, and did undervalue another item by which point I'd lost the will to live. Wanted to trade in all for an iPad but they never bothered to charge it up so I could test it. Finally lost part of my item, probably reason why they couldn't test it. Left with some vouchers that now probably useless. Maybe I got the useless guy? But don't trust this store any longer."

"I was in the store last week, and the customer service I received was second to none. The person who helped me was knowledgeable and efficient and worked out quickly what the problem with my phone was. I did a swap as mine was faulty. The whole process was hassle free."

"A great shop with a wide range of games and DVDs to choose from ranging from modern to retro Usually have decent prices though some items are priced higher than competitors such as eBay and other game/film stores. But it's always great to find great deals and build up a haul at CEX. Good service every time I visit with decent waiting times if busy. 5* will continue to shop here as I have done for many years!"

"Where do I start, just been in this store to trade in a laptop. Takes forever for the first person to look over it. Then after about 30 minutes of me waiting for him to faff about I get told oh I can’t do anything if you don’t have ID. Didn’t realise my laptop had an ID of who I am for him to check against but anyway, on I go to waste more of my time. Then I come back and get served by some girl that looks like she’s never been shown how to wash her clothes or even herself for that matter, the place reeks of BO. She then offers me £50 less than what I was offered 15minutes previously. Wasn’t quite aware of how volatile the MacBook market was until this experience. However in all honesty, this place should be shut down for crimes against health, it’s an absolute health hazard. If you don’t have ages to waste and don’t want to smell a gym changing room then I would not recommend this shop. Absolutely disgusting shop, honestly true what they say about CEX employees. Hygiene, a decent attitude and competence goes a long way."

"Fantastic service when returning Android phone. I was served by Henry who was really patient and courteous. He arranged a quick test before confirming the phone was faulty and covered under warranty. I left the store with a replacement... very happy...would recommend this store without reservation"
