"I'm giving two stars as the actual repair of the windscreen was good. But the customer service I recieved today was horrendous. I arrived a little earlier than the slot I had booked online and was told to wait inside. I then was ignored for 45 minutes. In this 45 minute wait my windscreen wasn't being repaired, I was waiting for someone to speak to me to sign the forms so it could be repaired. If one person had taken the time to let me know how long the wait was going to be I wouldn't have minded so much but I was ignored by everyone who worked in the store. Communication is everything and it was severely lacking. At one point I wondered if I had been missed but then overheard a member of staff discuss with another colleague how long the wait would be for another customer, gesturing to me saying "we need to repair her windscreen" I then tried to get her attention to ask how long I should expect to wait and she silenced me with her hand and said "just a second". She then walked off to do something else and then informed me I'd need to wait another 10/15 minutes. Luckily it wasn't that long just another 5. So by this point I had been waiting 50 minutes and was told it would take another 20 to repair the chip. The actual fixing of the chip was speedy and she managed my expectations by warning beforehand that she wouldn't be able to fully remove the chip but it would less visible and safe. It was absolutely pointless booking a slot beforehand as that time was completely ignored with people being seen before me who turned up after me. Shocking services, I would not recommend this branch."

"Great service from Matt in bulbs at Lewes Road branch in Brighton. Absolute attention to what was a very difficult job in a tight space. Turned what could have been a nightmare into a pleasant experience because of his confidence and care to detail. Well worth the cost. Highly recommended."

"Was not impressed with the customer service. Wanted to buy a particular bike, foldable, which I saw on their website. They didn't have any on display, and I thought they would go through their website with me, to help pick the correct one for me. I wanted to buy from Halfords, as I bought from their before, and was helped really well. All I got this time though was being given two models, probably are okay, without asking me what I wanted (A little short travel runaround) then said to come back in two weeks, as they should have more on display. Oh and was also told that the only one they had out, the foldable mechanism was broken. I bought one from somewhere else. What a shame."
