"I visited Bradshaw and Lloyd this week as I thought that the time had come to buy some proper boots that are built to last. I was served by the owner, Richard De Winter, who was extremely helpful in explaining the processes involved in making proper boots. It's clear that he's extremely knowledgable and was extremely patient in helping me try on a number of different boots. I had reason to email a couple of days later and he replied courteously and promptly. And on my second visit I was assisted by his son who was equally as understanding and patient. I hope I wasn't too indecisive or difficult a customer? Either way, their service was second to none. All in all, I don't understand why I hadn't discovered this little gem of a shop much earlier? If you want to have your shoes fitted by experts and you want to buy some top quality footwear, this is probably the best place to visit outside London. In fact, it's probably just the best place to visit."
