The Townhouse

"Terrible service! Followed by an 11 minute stay £100 parking fine... As a group of ladies on a night out we planned to start at Townhouse for drinks so my friend Katie looked online and found that we could book a table for drinks (great for us as a party of 6/7). However, upon arrival we parked up and made ourselves known to the guy at the desk immediately and expected to be shown to a table. He very flippantly and rudely said 'that's just for Covid, you cant book tables for drinks anymore' - even though it is a feature on their website? Offered no apology and seemed put out by us. We all went to the bar and as the service was so slow and there wasn't enough bar staff we decided to leave feeling disappointed and annoyed. He clearly saw us leave and wasn't at all concerned. Today, I as the designated driver received a £100 parking fine which can be reduced to £60 for prompt payment for 11 minutes parking. The car park is very badly lit, no signs were visible to 6 of us and no one mentioned to us at all that we had to input any details inside the venue... Terrible customer service that's left a very bad taste and we wont be returning... We have contacted the venue about this the day after and as yet more than a week on they have not responded."

"Finally made it to the Townhouse for dinner and it was amazing. Rebecca and Emma gave us great service. The food was top quality and delicious, especially the venison, pork belly and lamb rump. Loved the zombie cocktail, flaming passionfruit was a cute touch. Will definitely be back. If you are looking for a quality dining experience in Nantwich this is the place for you."
