"Fish, chips and mushy peas for eight quid turned out to be a bag of batter, a huge pile of barely cooked soggy spuds and a pot of what I can only describe as liquid 'green'. Had to queue for over ten minutes and apparently my FIL says people come from 'all over the area' for this travesty masquerading as food. Perhaps if it wasn't so busy they'd take the time to cook it properly? If I'd been closer I'd have taken them back but as it was they were bin bound as a never to be repeated mistake! DREADFUL"
"Went during the rush and still got served in decent time. Fish was a bit mushy though I must say, chips were fresh (could of done with little more vinegar). Very clean chippy"
