"We visited this place to enjoy a good evening meal, however the place and the food did not match our expectations. The staff handling our order wasn't polite and humble at all. Our preferences for food make overs were not well answered or would say they were answered rudely. The portion size of starters does not match the price we had to pay. We order grilled king prawns and cottage cheese, the portion did not justify the price we had to pay. The cottage cheese starter was just tossed in sauces with veggies, which actually had no flavour. The main course was fair but again the butter naan was found under cooked with minimal butter and all the main courses tasted sweet, whereas we had requested for it to be a bit spicy. Overall the experience wasn't decent, I would think before visiting again."
"Overall rating 4.5. Had a very enjoyable time here on a busy Saturday night along with kids. Vibe: 5/5. Decor 5/5. Food taste: 4.5 ( I recommend trying the Malai Chicken, Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken and the Lacha Parantha). Drinks: 5/5 (an excellent Pina Colada and love the trolley of brandies and whiskies brought over and served at the table after dinner). Service: 4 (a mixed bag of excellent waiters and a waitress who was a little rude). Extra requests were all handled with ease too. We would go back when in the area."
"Ambience is really good. Rest everything is not upto the mark. The staffs were not courteous at all. We were 8 people went there on my Birthday night and the staffs were really unhappy as the table was not booked before, though there was ample place on the weekday. Regarding the food, it was average, had better food on different Indian Restaurants. The portion is really small. It won't suffice even for one person. Have added the rice bowl picture as reference. The portion is like a fancy dine-in but the taste of the food or the behaviour of the staffs don't justify to that thought. We went as group, so we asked if there is any option which will suffice for atleast 3-4 persons, but they can't suggest anything, even the platter will contain only one or two pieces of each item. We had to keep on ordering due to misunderstanding of the portion size, when the staffs behaved really rude and asked us to order everything at once. Not a good experience at all. Won't visit again."
"Best Indian restaurant in the UK! Between the amazing atmosphere in the restaurant and the high quality of the food and drinks, you cannot go wrong here! I ordered a Maaya Special Thali, papadoms and a Caipirinha Passion and the amount of food you get for the low price is honestly amazing. I will be bringing my family and friends here again very soon."
"As we were staying at the nearby Moxy hotel, we thought we'd eat local one night. After walking our of the hotel, we simply needed to follow our noses! We had lamb chops as a starter and the chefs special as a main. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Great venue and service too - highly recommend!"
